Car Rental Platform
Aspire Automotive
A Next.js car rental platform — public website and admin dashboard
A production-oriented automotive rental web application combining an SEO-focused customer experience with an authenticated administrative platform for managing the business.

Overview
Two surfaces, one platform
Aspire Automotive is a car rental business based in Australia. The platform goes beyond a static marketing page — it is a complete web application built with Next.js that serves two different user groups through two distinct surfaces.
Customers interact with a public-facing website designed to present the vehicle fleet and services clearly, load fast, and rank well in search engines. Business administrators interact with a separate authenticated dashboard for managing the underlying data and workflows.

Surface 1
Public website
The customer-facing website is designed around the core goals of a rental business: present the vehicle fleet clearly, give potential customers the information they need to make a decision, and make it easy for them to get in touch or make an enquiry.
The website is built with Next.js and prioritises fast page loading, responsive layout across all devices, and SEO — because organic search visibility is a primary customer acquisition channel for a local automotive rental business.

Surface 2
Admin dashboard
Behind the public website, Aspire Automotive includes an authenticated administrative dashboard. This is a separate experience — accessible only to business administrators — that provides the management capabilities the business needs to operate the platform.
Separating the admin experience from the public website keeps both surfaces focused on their respective users: customers get a clean, fast public website; administrators get a purpose-built management interface.

Visibility
SEO & performance
For a local automotive rental business, organic search visibility directly affects how many potential customers find the platform. SEO was treated as an architectural concern — embedded in the rendering strategy, content structure, and metadata — rather than added after the fact.
Decisions
Engineering decisions
Single codebase, two surfaces
The public website and admin dashboard are built within one Next.js application. Route-based separation keeps the concerns clean without requiring a separate repository or deployment for each surface.
Separation of customer and admin experience
The public website is optimised for external visitors — fast, SEO-friendly, and focused on conversion. The admin dashboard is accessible only to authenticated users and is optimised for management workflows rather than public presentation.
SEO as an architectural concern
SEO was treated as a first-class requirement rather than an afterthought. This meant choosing the appropriate Next.js rendering strategy per page, writing meaningful metadata, and structuring content semantically from the start.
Stack
Technology
The application is built on Next.js with React and TypeScript. Additional technologies are in use within the project but have not been listed here to avoid speculation beyond what can be verified.
Outcome
Production deployment
Aspire Automotive is a deployed, production application serving real customers and business operations. The platform gives the car rental business an SEO-focused public presence and a dedicated internal management system — built as a single, maintainable Next.js application.
